Matthew Westerby Company’s mission is to build community through the arts, including creating opportunities for young people to participate in the professional performing arts in a non-competitive, supportive & inclusive setting, broadening their experience & developing networks between organizations in NYC & beyond.

The annual MWC Youth Dance Platform brings together 200+ young people from dance organizations across the north-east to share performance work, build community develop networks beyond their own training and experience.

In April 2026, the 4th Annual MWC Youth Dance Platform took place at the Theater at the 14th Street Y, bringing together 23 youth dance-focused organization and over 200 performers. Stay tuned for information about our 2027 Youth Dance Platform!
